We discovered the Atlantic Airpark for ourselves in 2010 and have rented the holiday home every year since then - sometimes several times a year. Our three daughters spent many school holidays here with us and still enjoy coming here. Two years ago we rented another house in the Airpark. Since then, we have been there every month for 1-2 weeks to get to know local life in all seasons.
This spring, we took the opportunity to buy Site No. 3 with 5,000 square metres of floor space including the main house, hangar and "our" holiday home.
Our "former" holiday home was renovated and modernized by us with great attention to detail. Now we would like to offer other pilots and their families the opportunity to holiday in a wonderful environment, to relax or just enjoy the freedom of flying in France (see also flight training ).

We now live alternately in Germany and France. The cottage is well spaced from our main house so that we don't get in each other's way should if we are in the airpark at the same time as our guests. . But of course, pilots always like to talk to each other and/or have a good glass of French wine together. We are always happy to help with words and deeds.
Why the Atlantic Airpark?
We looked at many other airparks in France before choosing this property here. In the end, Atlantic Airpark stands out for its relatively small, extremely nice and helpful community. You live with neighbours who share the same hobby and passion for flying. Also, the European mix of French, English, Belgians, Swiss and Germans who have their domicile here is simply fun. Another important reason for our decision was certainly the special microclimate that prevails here. The airpark is about 20 minutes by car from the beautiful Atlantic beaches. So it's easy to get there, but still far enough away from the typical French tourist crowds in July and August that populate the seaside resorts. The next largest town, Lucon, is only 5 km away and has an exceptionally good infrastructure with around 10,000 inhabitants (more under surroundings). You can have a wonderful holiday here all year round - "like God in France" - experience life with local French people and treat yourself to some time off.
